This hotel locates west side of Tsukuba downtown. It is 10 minute walk from the station, and 15 minute walk from the conference venue.

Hotel Grand Shinonome is a long-established hotel in Tsukuba, where we have our conference banquet.

How to make a reservation:

Please make your reservation through the on-line reservation form on the hotel web site with "LINAC10" in the remark column to ensure that the discount rate is applied.

Please make sure to note your preference on smoking or non-smoking rooms in the remark column.

You are supposed to receive a confirmation e-mail from the hotel in a day or so.

Accommodation

We have booked a number of rooms at the following three conference hotels.

• Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba Epochal locates just beside the conference center.
• Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba locates beside the bus terminal where a bus from Narita airport arrives.
• Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tsukuba is a new hotel recently built beside Tsukuba Station and a shopping center Q't.

All three hotels are in a walking distance from the conference site, and locate in a convenient area for shopping and dining. The secured number of rooms and their room types are listed in the tables below. The listed room rates are the conference discount rates per night including breakfast and tax. The internet access is also available from each room for free of charge. While the official deadline for the hotel reservation of August 8 has been passed, some of the conference hotels are still kindly accepting reservation with the conference discount rate. If you don't have hotel reservation yet, please try to book following the procedures described below.
